Processor: Systems include either a Mobile Celeron processor at 1.0663GHz and 256KB of on-board cache or Mobile Pentium(TM) III processor-M at 1.13GHz and 512KB of on-board cache.

Memory: Systems have standard system memory of 128MB or 256MB of 133MHz, non-parity, 64-bit SDRAM SO DIMM memory. This is expandable to a maximum of 1 GB with 128, 256, or 512MB SO DIMMS. There are two internal slots for memory modules, one for the 128MB or 256MB of standard memory and one for a memory upgrade. To obtain the maximum 1GB to which memory can be expanded, replace the 128 or 256MB card with a 512MB card and add another 512MB card in the extra slot.

PC Card: Type III slot can accommodate one Type I, one Type II, or one Type III PC card via the lower connector in the slot. Both 16-bit and 32-bit cards are supported.

Storage: Standard 20, 30, or 40GB HDD, depending on model. These HDDs issue an alert if a failure is pending. Optional 20 or 40GB HDDs for system unit. Optional 20, 40, and 60GB HDDs are also available for use in the Ultrabay Plus. The optional second HDD adapter is required. Two HDDs can be used concurrently.
